Sand Hill Media was founded in 1997 by Stephen Sutter. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he went directly into the film business working in the engineering department of Francis Coppola’s Zoetrope Studios and then on to other work at other studio including Lucasfilm. After a stint on the creative side with credits in sound editing and mixing in both CA and NY, he returned to his tech roots and eventually in 1997 formed Sand Hill Media & Associates in the Bay area. Initially the firm was focused primarily on the professional feature film market but spread into corporate, web and games facilities design as well. Large format video technology has also been a recent part of our technical armament. Sand Hill Media uses a stable of very experienced associates that partner with us on projects according to the technical need. Many of our associates have head engineering departments themselves at various studios. Sand Hill Media is a modern virtual company, able to deliver the most cost effective team to address all projects. Now based in Boston, Sand Hill Media has amassed a long list of high profile and satisfied clients.
